If you're a tween and you've found 12:34, you're looking for something a little different than what many kid craft sites have to offer; toilet paper roll crafts might not seem as cool as they once did and perhaps you're looking to try your hand at something with a little more style. At 12:34, we hope to bridge the gap between projects for little kids and projects geared towards teenagers and adults. We try our hand at art, crafting, stamping - if we think it's cool - we'll try it. Thanks for dropping by! N&K

All Stamped Out

Project Butterfly on display in the house. We used shimmer mod podge to make the butterflies more sturdy and shiny and pinned black ribbon around the wooden base to tidy up the look.

Stamping was alot of fun. I learned that stamping is a huge industry, with so many products...it boggles the mind, yet I also was reminded how much fun can be had with one stamp and basic black stamping ink...hello project butterfly! Kiki learned that all these stamps we have aren't merely decorative and can become an invitation to a creative project...I like that, especially since she's keen on cleaning them!

A few more little things we made this week while stamping: We had fun making all sorts of St.Patricks Day cards, with whatever our imaginations could come up with. I don't know what's lucky about a frog in love but it's green so we'll make it fit! The next project is using one of Kia's favorite stamps...the peace sign. Super simple, as we used various stamp ink colors and then used a glitter glue over top. We simply squeezed the glitter glue onto the paper and spread it around with our fingers. Voila!

This week our focus shifts to canvases.
