If you're a tween and you've found 12:34, you're looking for something a little different than what many kid craft sites have to offer; toilet paper roll crafts might not seem as cool as they once did and perhaps you're looking to try your hand at something with a little more style. At 12:34, we hope to bridge the gap between projects for little kids and projects geared towards teenagers and adults. We try our hand at art, crafting, stamping - if we think it's cool - we'll try it. Thanks for dropping by! N&K

Week Catch-Up

I need to scan and share some paintings. Will do later.

In the meantime I wanted to share what we've been focusing on this past week. Art journaling continues to be a weekly focus and something we are trying to do when the urge strikes. In an effort to encourage free painting I've been providing lovely sheets of canal paper made of white cotton from La Papeterie Saint Armand. Love this paper so very much.

We've been using it as the base for many painting experiments this week and it's worked like a dream. Combining paints with all sorts of artist mediums we have on hand and have really been exploring with sheen. Sorry if it sounds dull as tombs without any photos to back it up, but we've had a great time smearing paint on lovely paper and then glossing it over with gel mediums and polymers.
